British Council Latvia organized a two-day creative workshop “sentimental/useless/useful…” where participants were challenged to design new, meaningful objects from useless components found in an old building. In that what, otherwise useless objects were filled with life, meaning and utility. The workshop was supervised by two British designers – Nick Rawcliffe and Adam Fairweather.
I took part in sustainable design workshop “sentimental/useless/useful…” led by two British designers Nick Rawcliffe and Adam Fairweather. I was lucky to work in a pair with young and talented furniture designer Inese Kloviņa to design a “multiped chair” based on freely available materials that otherwise would be trashed out.
Thanks a million to British Council Latvia for organizing this and other creative events here in Latvia.
